Delta Sig Tailgate for UNC vs. Notre Dame
The 22nd ranked Tar Heels will face off against the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame this coming Saturday Oct.11 starting at 3:30. With the Butch Davis era seemingly on the upswing the Tar Heels look to defend their newly claimed national ranking. The Delta Sig’s of UNC will once again be hosting a huge tailgate in preparation for the big game. Our tailgates are normally planned and coordinated by the brothers but as is customary once each fall, we are allowing our pledge class to take charge and coordinate the tailgate. All alumni, friends, family, and those thinking of joining Delta Sig in coming semesters are welcome and strongly encouraged to come as we are planning to have a great time. Please contact one of the brothers if you are not a normal tailgate attendee so we can plan accordingly for food.
We will be located in the same place we have as past tailgates, the top floor of Cardinal parking deck on South Campus. It is adjacent to the Hospital on Manning Drive and is the closer of the two parking decks to Columbia. The fraternity will provide all food and non-alcoholic refreshments, but donations from alumni are of course welcome. We will also have a fraternity tent as well as several tailgating games for folks of all ages to participate in. The only thing we ask that you bring is lawn chairs. The festivities will begin around 12pm on Saturday and we certainly hope you and your friends or family will choose to spend the afternoon with the brothers and friends of Delta Sigma Phi here at UNC.
