LOL I love Eddie, but his victory dance is second only to Russ' two handed trying-to-shake-the-catchup-out-of-the-bottle-from-side-to-side self applause.

Thanks to all those who came out to play Frisbee, despite the cold weather. While no formal score was kept, everyone got a chance to have some fun and essentially knows that whatever team Eddie was on at the moment was winning.

I might add that we have much better things to do with our time (which is limited already for most of us) than fabricating innovative ways to demean other men.

The Gentlemen of Delta Sigma Phi lead by being an example, not out of fear of embarrassment nor punitive recourse.

We live the principles of our preamble to become a better man, to become leaders among men.

The Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity in convention assembled declares and affirms the following principles:

That the belief in God is essential to our welfare.

That loyalty to the constituted authority of our nations and their subdivisions is a cardinal virtue of our Brotherhood, the pledged faith of which shall never be broken; and that our Brotherhood, receiving the blessings of liberty, education and fraternity, shall ever support, foster and defend our universities, colleges, and school systems, founded under the dispensation of our governments and constituting the bulwarks of democracy for us, for our posterity and for all men.

That the sanctity of the home and the sacredness of the family bond, the hearthstone of our enlightened civilization, and the chivalry of man toward woman, shall be maintained and protected by us, not only for ourselves and our posterity, but also for the good of all mankind.

That a symmetrical culture, a fraternal communion among the colleges of this country, and brotherhood of men, whose ideals and beliefs are those of modern civilization, are essential to the welfare of our college men.

In furtherance of these aims, this Fraternity has recognized certain standards of attainment and gentlemanly conduct expressed in the ideals symbolically represented by the three Greek letters, Delta, Sigma, and Phi; and it shall be the constant endeavor of the brothers who may be called to preside over and govern the fraternity, or its component chapters, to enforce the precepts of the Fraternity by every reasonable means within their power, and they, and each Brother of the Fraternity shall exemplify those principles by conduct as well as enforcement in order that the Fraternity may grow and prosper with honor to itself and that the world may ever be convinced of the sincerity of our purpose.

Everyone had an absolute blast in Charlotte. One of our alumni, Mike Griffin, was more than gracious to allow us to stay in his loft even while renovations were ongoing. We had 4 guys actually go to the game which was only a few blocks away and 2 of them had the awesome 6th row 50 yard line tickets which were decided by a hat drawing.

The rest of us, myself included stayed behind in the penthouse of a loft to watch the game on a RIDICULOUS projection TV in HD. During the game we got a poker game going as well which, if I might add, I won.

All in all though, brothers and guests alike had an experience like no other. On top of that, there's no doubt in my mind that there will be more opportunities when Griff will allow to use the loft again. Hope to see everyone around this fall!

The trip to Charlotte was a huge success! Our Alumni in Charlotte graced us with 6th row, 50-yard line seats! This in addition to staying in a luxury loft within walking distance of the stadium too!

I wish I could have gone but the web site wouldn't be this sexy if I didnt slave over it with Peyton until midnight Saturday.

It looks like we have half a dozen or so guys that are very interested in the most uncommon fraternity experience at UNC Chapel Hill!

Glad to hear everyone had a blast!
